BIDOIS (pronounced Bidwah) is a DJ and producer from Wellington, New Zealand, known for high-energy sets packed with mean-as basslines and fearless genre shifts from House and Garage to 140, Jungle and Drum & Bass.

Since relocating to London he’s played Lightbox & SynLon, featured on Kool.FM and hit Invasion Festival (Birmingham), after holding regular club slots and summer festival bookings across New Zealand.

His journey spans Brixton Jamm, Electric Brixton, Somerset House (Boiler Room), Lakota Bristol, Camden Assembly and international dates in Barcelona and Toronto.

He’s supported and selected for legends like Congo Natty, Dawn Penn and MJ Cole plus a monthly AAJA Radio residency, Bubz continues to push culture forward - one dancefloor at a time.

1. I have a daily practice of: meditation, yoga, fitness, running, wellness, martial arts.

2. I boycott all junk food brands and am not supporting brands that violate human and environmental protective rights.

3. I am an obsessive vinyl collector of late 60s studio one and 70s roots.

4. Dancing is a neccessary medicine and I feel most comfortable on the dance floor whether it is a rave or a sober event.

5. When I travel people find it hard to match my image to my personality and often claim I'm pretending to be english as a joke because I seem to exhibit very little of english culture in my way of life and being.
