WHAT IS IT

Friyays at Makossa is a weekly DJ residency bringing together emerging talent and underground sound in one room. A project by Club Makossa x The Faded Community

Every week is a genre journey — starting warm and euphoric, building in energy as the night goes on, and finishing on a high. No filler. No repeats. Just a well-curated night that respects the music and the crowd.

Five sets. One night. Every Friday.

Each week runs the same path — but the DJs change, the selections shift, and no two nights ever feel the same.

10pm – 11pm House

Pop, vocal, piano, disco. Get people in the door and smiling.

11pm – 12am Tech House

Commercial, driving. The room starts filling up, energy picks up.

12am – 1am Tech House

Keep it locked. Peak pressure, floor is full.

1am – 2am UK Bass

Think Joy Orbison, Overmono, Saint Ludo. Weighted, textured, moving.

2am – 3am Drum & Bass

Peak dance-floor dnb. Send the room home on a proper ending.

We're booking DJs every week across all five slots. Whether you're just getting your first bookings or you've been in the game a while, Friyays is a real room, a real crowd, and a real opportunity to show what you can do.

Get paid to play

Every DJ gets paid. Full stop. And if the night does well, so do you.

GUARANTEED: £40 per set

Guaranteed per set, every week. Confirmed on booking.

BONUS: £50 from the night

On top of your base if the night hits £1,500 in revenue. Bring your crowd and it pays off.

ONE
Apply for a slot — tell us your genre, your level, and drop us a mix or a link. We match DJs to the set that fits them best.

TWO
Get confirmed — we'll come back to you with your date, time slot, and any details you need before the night.

THREE
Bring your mates — the night is better when the room is full, and if the bar hits its target, every DJ on that bill gets the bonus too.

FOUR
Play a great set — do your thing. The room is set up for you to shine.
