about

the faded community

Founded by Cat aka Faded Society(DJ alias), it all began from the Faded Society Events in 2021 after a successful (slightly illegal) Halloween party above a pub. These events slowly transformed into a brand and relaunched into what is now known as The Faded Community, establishing in April 2024

We saw a system that was broken. Talented artists stuck on the outside locked behind gatekeeping and lack of opportunities so we built this brand to change that. Everyone deserves to explore their music passion into long term careers. The underground deserves the same shot as the mainstream — the stages, the support, the resources.

We create physical stages and digital spaces for grassroots artists to gain real-world experience. We run workshops and 1-0-1 sessions to help independent artists own their brand through education, media and marketing solutions.

We connect our community directly to venues and brands through our database and WhatsApp network; providing a supportive forum for artists and ravers to find place of belonging:

The small venues
The emerging creatives
The ones who keep nightlife culture alive

- all from the underground up.

While our roots are in London, we operate nationally and internationally. Actively expanding our footprint into key UK cultural hubs like Manchester and Bristol to ensure the next generation of electronic music has the resources to thrive
