This is suitable for artists, individuals, bands, brands and collectives, breaking down what a Marketing Campaign is and learn how to plan campaigns for releases, events or brand launches using practical tools you can apply to your own projects.

PURPOSE

  • Understand your current channels and how to use it efficiently

  • Suggest clear action plans for you to design your own marketing campaign

  • Understand marketing and consumerism

  • Understand functions from various platforms and channels such as Instagram, Mailchimp, Beacons, Eventbrite, Resident Advisor or any similar platforms.

Preparations

  • Prepare details about the project you want to promote (release, event, campaign etc.)

  • Share any existing marketing ideas or materials you already have

  • Examples of campaigns you admire for inspiration

TIPS INCLUDED

  • How to create a marketing strategy

  • How to organise and use free platforms such as Canva and Google Suite

  • Any other tailored information as needed

  • A written summary will be sent to outline all points and lessons discussed with homework check list
